ARTIST'S ADDENDUM: You know, it almost embarasses me that this single photo is the most popular in my gallery. I took this photo only a year into my professional career and looking back on it, while I will always adore the photo because of Whitey - who will always have a special place in my heart - I also can't believe this photo has drawn such praise. Technically speaking it's nothing special, I suppose its draw is the subject, such a beautiful specimen of rarity. While I'm proud that this photo continues to delight horse lover's and racing fans alike - even after Whitey has since been retired from his short lived racing career - I suppose this is where I'll implore to take a look at the rest of my gallery while you're stopping by. There's more and better in store for there.
Thanks,
Emily Lang

After a morning work in 2005. Exclusively there to see him, The White Fox.
For those of you who have no idea who that is. I'll give you a little background. He's one of only 17(?) true white(NOT albino) Thoroughbreds registered with the Jockey's Club. He's the 4 year old son of Patchen Beauty, one of the only white Thoroughbreds to actually win a race. She won two in her racing career. A less than desirable record when comparing it to other Thoroughbreds but you have to take into account and consider she's one of the only White's to ever do it. Another point of interest about his very famous mom is that with white Thoroughbreds in the past, it's very rare for them to produce white foals consecutively. With the birth of Patchen Prince, this horse's half brother, she's produced three consecutive white foals.
Here is Whitey back in his stall, figured I'd take a portrait without his halter on.
That is the face of an angel. I'm not even really a huge fan of white horses in general but this is completely darling. Also, the information is really interesting. Thanks for sharing!

*gasp* Realllly!? Cooool! Well.. I'm watching him on equibase soooo whenever he's gonna workout next. I'll try my best to get there. Hopefully it'll be on a weekend.
He works out every Tuesday morning usually between 730 am and 8 am. But you can come on the weekend and I can at least take you back to see him in his stall.
