He's the 3 year old son of Patchen Beauty, one of the only white Thoroughbreds to actually win a race. She won two in her racing career. Horrible record when comparing it to regular Thoroughbreds but it's quite phenomonal when you consider she's one of the only one's to ever do it.

They're now compensating her minimal racing success by breeding her to champion stallions. Whitey here is by Pioneering. Another quite astonishing thing about his very famous mom is that with white Thoroughbreds in the past, it's very rare for them to produce white foals consecutively. With the birth of The White Prince just a month or so ago, this horse's half brother, she's produced three consecutive white foals.
